PDF files vary enormously in how they are constructed. A tool that works cleanly on one file may produce imperfect output on another, particularly with scanned pages, unusual fonts or damaged documents. Always keep your original file and check the result before relying on it.

Visual redaction is not the same as removing data. If a document contains genuinely sensitive information, verify the output with an independent tool before sharing it. Removing a password from a file you are not authorised to modify is your responsibility, not ours.
