Our guides exist to answer the question that brought you here, not to funnel you toward a paid upgrade — there isn't one. If the best answer to a problem is a piece of desktop software we do not make, we say so.

How articles are produced

• Drafts are produced with AI assistance and reviewed by a maintainer before publication.
• Every article carries a published and an updated date so you can judge freshness.
• Limitations are stated plainly, including where our own tools fall short.

Authorship

Advertising and independence

Advertising never influences which tools we build or what a guide recommends. Ads are labelled and placed away from upload, download and navigation controls. We do not publish sponsored posts or paid links inside articles.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us via the contact page. Substantive corrections are made in place and the updated date is changed. We do not silently delete articles that turned out to be wrong; we fix them.
